The global aviation market is more important than ever to the economy of Washington state. Boeing is the United States’ largest exporter and has delivered record numbers of commercial aircraft the last two years, with most of its aircraft being delivered to international customers. Yet Boeing’s suppliers and vendors are predominantly American, making the company a significant generator of additional jobs in Washington and throughout the country.
