2014 Annual Dinner

June 25th, 2014

The global aviation market is more important than ever to the economy of Washington state. Boeing is the United States’ largest exporter and has delivered record numbers of commercial aircraft the last two years, with most of its aircraft being delivered to international customers. Yet Boeing’s suppliers and vendors are predominantly American, making the company a significant generator of additional jobs in Washington and throughout the country.

Ray Conner, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, is uniquely positioned to tell us about those global markets, Boeing’s stake in them and what our region needs to do to be competitive in these global markets.

It’s a Battle of the Universities!

Our panelists will answer questions on the future of the international economy. We’ll track their predications throughout the year and see how their answers stack up against the actual data. Will it be SU, WSU or the UW that takes home the title of “Trade Master” at the end of 2014?
