INTERNATIONAL PRESS CENTER

The Seattle International Press Center assists international journalists with their coverage of the vibrant and diverse landscape that is Greater Seattle and Washington state. We do this by providing logistics assistance, background and research information and meeting coordination for journalists who are writing stories about the region. The Trade Alliance hosts the Seattle IPC at the request of the U.S. State Department, and is one of three privately managed press centers in the nation.

About the International Press Centers

International Press Centers operate at the request of the U.S. Department of State and are managed by private entities, helping foreign journalists cover different regions of the United States.

In addition, the U.S. Department of State operates Foreign Press Centers in Washington, D.C. and New York. The Foreign Press Centers coordinate news-gathering tours on major economic, political and cultural themes, briefings by government officials, advice on coverage plans and help setting appointments and information services.
