JOB TITLE: Trade Development Coordinator, Trade Development Alliance
CLASSIFICATION: Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
SALARY: $30,500
This position reports to the President of the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle (The Trade Alliance), a partnership of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, Port of Everett, City of Seattle, City of Everett, City of Tacoma, City of Bellevue, Metropolitan King County, Snohomish County, Pierce County, organized labor and educational institutions. This position offers the opportunity for advancement within the Trade Alliance. The person who fills the position is an employee of the Chamber.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of databases and comfort with computers required; experience
with MS Office and Access highly desired
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Typing of 65+ wpm
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; demonstrated fluency
in English
Good people skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, under pressure, and
to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Professional and courteous demeanor
Interest in international trade and foreign cultures/languages highly
desired
Knowledge of social media/networking and web content development desired
DUTIES
The position is responsible for maintaining the organization’s database
that supports membership and company interests. The position handles
the organization’s membership program. The position helps maintain the
organization’s web site and social media/networking efforts. The position
also assists other staff with international programs, inbound missions
and activities related to outbound missions, and performs other duties
as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
