INBOUND AND OUTBOUND MISSIONS

Promoting Greater Seattle – its companies, institutions, and organizations – and ensuring Greater Seattle’s competitiveness in the global economy requires contact with our international business partners. To achieve this, the Trade Alliance leads annual outbound missions to international markets selected by our Board of Directors and assists the many delegations that visit Greater Seattle for business and trade each year.

Mission Programs and Delegation Assistance

Outbound Business Mission program

The Trade Alliance’s outbound business mission program explores business opportunities in economic regions that have been selected by our Executive Board. Outbound mission delegations are comprised of regional business leaders, young firms, small and medium-sized enterprises, educational leaders and elected officials.

International Leadership Mission program

The Trade Alliance co-leads an annual Leadership Mission with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce to develop relationships with leading metropolitan regions and bring to the forefront how other regions of the world are maintaining their competitive edge.

Inbound delegation assistance

The Trade Alliance is the host organization for many inbound delegations coming into our region for doing business and trade. We recruit and assist inbound delegations and guarantee the professional management of these inbound groups.
