Greater Seattle region continues to see job growth

The Greater Seattle area (Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue) ranked fourth in the nation in job growth, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The region added 19,900 jobs in November. The BLS also tracks 32 employment centers within large metropolitan areas, and the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett area added 23,900 jobs in November, the third hightest in the country, and ranked second in the nation in the largest over-the-year percentage gains at 1.6 percent in November.
