Tunnel Vision

The state, the county, the city and the port walk into a bar…actually they have come to agreement on a tunnel to replace the Alaska Viaduct that runs along the Seattle waterfront. The viaduct is one of the two main north – south highways running through the city and plays an important part in keeping the logistics industry in Greater Seattle humming. Washington state government worked with the City of Seattle, King County and the Port of Seattle to come up with the agreement. Details will be announced at a press conference on Tuesday.
