A Scandinavian Connection

Icelandair has announced a new scheduled service between Greater Seattle and Reykjavik, Iceland, with the first flight arriving from Keflavik International Airport on July 22, 2009. Four flights a week will depart from Sea-Tac International Airport at 4:30 in the afternoon and arrive in Reykjavik at 6:45 the following morning, up to 4 hours faster connection times to Scandinavia than possible through other European hubs.  Flights to Helsinki, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Paris will also be available via Reykjavik.  Connecting flights returning from Reykjavik arrive in Seattle at 5:45 p.m., just in time for dinner at home or easy connections throughout North America.

Icelandair has an all-Boeing fleet and will serve Sea-Tac with a 183-seat Boeing 757.
