Join the Trade Alliance, Port of Yokohama Promotion Association and Port of Seattle for a seminar and lunch on Business Opportunities with Yokohama, Japan.
The Port of Yokohama Promotion Association was established in 1953 and consists of the Port of Yokohama, the Yokohama Chamber of Commerce, and nearly 600 port-related entities, who working together to promote the Port of Yokohama through various PR activities. The Port of Yokohama is the 3rd most important port for Japan-Washington two way trade, recording 53,677 TEUs in two-way cargo flow with the Port of Seattle and the Port of Tacoma combined in 2007. During their visit to Washington, the Promotion Association will inform us about the latest facility and service updates of the Port of Yokohama, share with us their plans for future development, review their past friendship with Washington State, and explore future opportunities for cooperation with Washington ports and related industries.
