Other Press Center

The International Press Center Seattle is part of a network of Foreign and International Press Centers in the United States. The federal government operates two Foreign Press Centers in Washington D.C. and New York. Foreign Press Center services include:

  • High-level briefings by government officials on the topics of current interest.
  • News-gathering tours on major economic, political, security, social, and cultural themes.
  • News briefings piped in live from the White House, the State Department, the Defense Department, and other US agencies and congressional committees.
  • Advice on coverage plans and help arranging appointments.
  • Reference and information services, including access to on- line databases.
  • Associated Press and USA News Service.
