This morning, The Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle and Jafza (Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The MOU, signed on behalf of the organizations by Neepaporn A Boungjaktha and Ibrahim Al Janahi, declares the mutual support of bilateral trade relations between Greater Seattle and Dubai. TDA and Jafza are aiming to promote each other’s efforts through mutual recognition. Dubai offers a steady platform for business growth and connectivity to the world through which Greater Seattle companies can benefit greatly. City of Bellevue Councilmember Conrad Lee, William Glassford (The Commerce Bank of Washington), and Karen Ferguson (Emirates Airline Company) were in attendance as witnesses of the signing. This MOU opens up great opportunities for future collaboration and strengthens an already substantial relationship.
