Treasurer Stephanie Wright | Councilmember, Snohomish County Council

“I have had the honor to serve the people of Snohomish County since 2010. I am dedicated to strengthening our communities through economic development and improved public safety, and to working towards a shared vision for development, transportation, and preservation throughout the region.

In addition to serving as chair of the Operations Committee, which includes a diverse range of policy areas such as the county airport, Paine Field, County Auditor, Information Services, Facilities, and Parks and Recreation Departments, I currently serve as Vice President of the WA State Association of Counties, and on the Puget Sound Regional Council Operations Committee, Community Transit Board, Snohomish County Tomorrow, LEOFF Board, and National Association of Counties Western Interstate Region Board of Directors.

Born in Everett, I am a life-long resident of Snohomish County with roots in both Marysville and Lynnwood. My husband and I have lived in Lynnwood for almost 20 years and are now raising our wonderful son there. After receiving my Bachelors from Washington State University, I earned a Masters in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University. Prior to serving on the county council, I was a high school teacher at Woodinville High School, a librarian in the Northshore School District, and served on the Lynnwood City Council.”
